Exhibition Receptions

Our receptions are FREE social events that are open to the public. The events include live music, passed hors d’oeuvres, a cash bar, and a river view from the terrace when weather allows.

Crossing Over

Eun-Kyung Suh (Duluth, Minnesota)
Eileen Woods (Columbus, Ohio)
+ a group show featuring the Weavers Guild of Greater Cincinnati, Inc.

Expressing the transformation that occurs when moving from one realm to another, fiber artists explore universal and cultural passages, including immigration, relocation, changes in form or appearance, and death, explored through varied and unexpected materials and methods.

Kaleidoscope

Monika Meler (Stockton, California)
Carolyn Swift (Traverse City, Michigan)
+ a four-person group show with Craig DeHart (Middletown, Ohio), Jane Waggoner Deschner (Billings, Montana), Lori Kay Farr (Hamilton, Ohio) and Colleen Garibaldi (Washington, D.C.)

Combining color with dynamic process, a diverse collection of artists explore the ever-changing patterns, scenes and phases of life through the use of hand-cut, printed and collaged works on paper, telephoto landscapes, embroidered vintage photography, shimmering mosaics and figurative paintings.

STEAM

STEM + Art = STEAM. The issues, discoveries or processes inherent in the STEM subjects (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) provide some of the power behind fantastic prints, a recycled environmental installation, metal sculptures, large-scale charcoal drawings and suspended porcelain.

6th Biennial Fitton Center Member Showcase

Growing with each inception to reflect our ever-increasing and talented membership, this multi-media invitational group show invites Fitton Center members to exhibit their creations. Kids' art, adult contemporary works and family heirlooms are shown side-by-side in this multi-generational show.

Member artworks for this show will be accepted March 15 – 17, 2018.
