The Cincinnati Ballet capped off its weekend residency March 18 with a Fitton ShowStoppers performance by CB2.
These future stars from the Second Company already have extensive, impressive training and credits. While they often appear in supporting roles with the main company at Music Hall, CB2 headlines around the region.
The evening lived up to its title as a slate of up-and-coming choreographers put together a program that featured everything from traditional ensemble work to striking duets and solos, from an energetic James Brown set to a freestyle street dance.
Ranging from languid and graceful to frenetic and fun, CB2 showed off the leaps, pirouettes and en pointe performances that will land its members on top stages all around the world.
