From Sam Cooke to Prince, Louisville’s premier funk band, Boogiejuice Funk n’ Horns, bring some of the greatest Funk, Soul, R&B and Pop tunes to the stage at the Fitton Center. Mauriece Hamilton fronts this 7-piece powerhouse band on lead vocals, sax, and piano as they deliver the hits of Barry White, Stevie Wonder, The Commodores, Marvin Gaye, the Rev. Al Green and many, many more.

Acclaimed conductor Maestro Scott Woodard leads the magnificent Butler Philharmonic Orchestra in a sumptuous  classical program that includes the Coriolan Overture by Beethoven,  Mozart’s Concerto for Flute and Harp featuring soloists John Ross & Jaclyn Wappel, the overture to Mozart’s The Marriage of Figaro and Haydn‘s Farewell Symphony.

The Cincinnati Contemporary Jazz Orchestra will fill the stage with 17 big band musicians and sensational jazz vocalist, Mandi Gaines, for a wonderful evening of Christmas entertainment. With original arrangements from the Ella Fitzgerald Christmas songbook to timeless holiday songs, carols and modern classics, this is a night of music that is sure to get you swinging right through the holidays!

The Julie James Show
