SOS ART Partnership Classes
SOS (Save Our Souls) Art is collaborating with the Fitton Center to present free community outreach art programming. SOS ART’s mission is to provide opportunities, venues, and promotions for the arts as vehicles for peace and justice.
Ten spaces will be available for young artists to participate in this class. Children who enroll in this program are expected to attend all ten classes (barring emergency circumstances.) Please do not register if you know in advance your child will not be able to attend all ten classes.

A Digital Drawing Class
Age: 10 - 14
Instructor: Sarah Hynfield
Mondays | 6 – 7:30 pm, June 5 – August 7, 2023
This class is a collaboration with school located in Prague, Czech Republic, offered in partnership with SOS Art.
This class will address tolerance through visual storytelling. Students will learn about issues surrounding the theme of tolerance, discuss their own concerns and experiences with tolerance, and synthesize these ideas to craft a story.
Students will discover how to design characters, map out the story with sequential art, and use digital drawing techniques to create artwork for a collaborative comic book.
The completed comic book will be published alongside a companion comic from our partner school in Prague and distributed to schools in both the Greater Cincinnati region and Czech Republic. All participants will receive a copy of the completed book after publishing.
Class is full, please call (513) 863 - 8873 ext. 110 if you would like to be added to the waitlist.
