SOS Art Partnership Classes
SOS (Save Our Souls) Art is collaborating with the Fitton Center to present free community outreach art programming. SOS ART’s mission is to provide opportunities, venues, and promotions for the arts as vehicles for peace and justice.
Fifteen spaces will be available for young artists to participate in this class. Children who enroll in this program are expected to attend all six classes (barring emergency circumstances.) Please do not register if you know in advance your child will not be able to attend all six classes.

Exploring Equity Through Sculpture
Age: 7 -12

Thursdays | 6 – 7:30 pm
October 6 - November 17 / No class October 20th
In this class students will explore the topic of equity through sculpture/ 3D art. Students will learn the differences between equity and equality, then reflect on ways they have seen this in their own lives, others’ experiences, and in the media. Projects will include story tunnels, found object sculptures, 3D word sculptures, and model magic 3D collages.
