2025-2026 Exhibitions

Hamilton, Ohio – The Fitton Center for Creative Arts announced its 2025-2026 season July 14.


The Fitton Center offers four major exhibitions annually, emphasizing inclusion, community and connection through all visual media. Our galleries become home to both world-renowned and local art while engaging artists and guests alike to look at the world with unique perspectives.

5 to 9 p.m. Friday, August 15, 2025 – Play Time Playfully merging complex ideas and objects, four artists build past, future and imaginary worlds. On view August 1 to September 26, 2025. August 15 gallery opening in conjunction with Season Launch. Play Time features solo shows by Carol Boram-Hays (Columbus, OH) and Abbi Loree Ruppert (Owensboro, KY), as well as a two-person show including work by Gregory Freeman (West Chester, OH) and Bart Vargas (Omaha, NE).

5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Saturday, October 25, 2025 – Rock & Root Inspired by earth, forests and stars, four artists connect us to a changing universe. On view October 25, 2025 to January 9, 2026. October 25 gallery opening in conjunction with Fitton Showstoppers: The Conjurors. Rock & Root includes solo art by Cathryn Amidei (Ann Arbor, MI) and Amanda Evans (Knoxville, TN), with a two-person show by Amy Kollar Anderson (Dayton, OH) and Amanda Lechner (Blacksburg, VA).

5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Saturday, February 14, 2026 – Push & Pull Explore the pressure of control, lure of power and tug of emotion in works by four artists seeking balance. On view February 14 to  March 27, 2026. February 14 gallery opening in conjunction with Jazz & Cabaret: Mardi Gras Party. Push & Pull showcases solo work by John Fitzsimmons (Syracuse NY) and Fatima Taylor (Reynoldsburg OH), as well as a two-person show by John Sproul (Salt Lake City, UT) and Tarah Trueblood (Oxford, OH).

5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Saturday, May 2, 2026 – 10th Biennial Member Show

Share your creativity in this invitational show that spotlights contemporary and historic works by Fitton Center Member Artists and their families. On view May 2 to June 26, 2026. May 2 gallery opening in conjunction with Jazz & Cabaret: The Drag Show. Submissions will be accepted online in March of 2026.

Galleries are accessible during public building hours and prior to performances and public events.  Group gallery tours may be scheduled outside of listed gallery hours with adequate notice.  Galleries are periodically closed for the installation of new art, so please check the exhibition schedule before your visit. All exhibitions are FREE and open to the whole community.
