2026-2027 season announced

Hamilton, Ohio – The Fitton Center for Creative Arts today announced the programming and schedule for its upcoming 2026-2027 season.


The Fitton Center offers four primary performance series – Celebrating Self, Fitton Family Fridays, Jazz & Cabaret and Fitton Showstoppers – plus a full season of visual art in its galleries and a returning cult classic in the Fitton Cinema.

FITTON SHOWSTOPPERS Our Saturday night mainstage series in the Fitton Family Theater highlights national and international acts performing in genre-spanning styles designed for maximum audience engagement and enjoyment. Performances begin at 7:30 p.m. October 17, 2026 – Genesis ReTouched Presents: Genesis Evolution November 21, 2026 – Hamilton Feud December 12, 2026 – Pop Rock Christmas (The Ultrasonics) January 23, 2027 – Salute to the Rat Pack and Friends February 13, 2027 – A Candlelit Romance March 20, 2027 – The Young Originals April 10, 2027 – Kanin Wren’s Taylor Swift Experience May 15, 2027 – The Love Boat Yacht Rock Show Tickets are $41 for Fitton Center members, $51 for non-members. JAZZ & CABARET This Saturday night adult contemporary series in the Carruthers Signature Ballroom brings in the best in regional and national jazz musicians, as well as thematic cabaret performances tailored to a sophisticated audience. Performances begin at 7:30 p.m. September 26, 2026 – Vibrations: The Music of Milt Jackson (featuring Rusty Burge and The Phil DeGreg Trio) March 6, 2027 – The Sounds of Smooth Jazz April 24, 2027 – Tiki Time (featuring Two Sketchy Dames) Tickets are $41 for Fitton Center members, $51 for non-members.


FITTON FAMILY FRIDAYS Aimed at younger audiences - but enjoyable across the generations - we offer top-tier live theatrical experiences coupled with kid-friendly food and drink at a family-friendly price. Performances begin at 7:30 p.m. in the theater with snacks served at 6:30 in the ballroom. September 18, 2026 – O’Ryan the O’Mazing October 2, 2026 – Goldilocks Rocks November 13, 2026 – Miss Joanie’s Amazing Music Adventure December 4, 2026 – The Day Before Christmas January 8, 2027 – Mr. Molecule’s Outer Space Adventures February 19, 2027 – Tomás and the Library Lady March 19, 2027 – Lou the Baby Dinosaur April 23, 2027 - The First Hero Tickets are $9 for Fitton Center member, $11 for non-members.

CELEBRATING SELF The luncheon speaker series on the first Wednesday of each month in the Carruthers Signature Ballroom offers guests engaging and insightful presentations on a variety of topics coupled with a bountiful buffet catered by Two Women in a Kitchen. Lunch is served at 11:30 a.m. with programs starting at noon. September 2, 2026 – USS Cincinnati October 7, 2026 – One City One Book: My Dear Hamilton November 4, 2026 – Tom Tsuchiya December 2, 2026 – Christmas Movies January 6, 2027 – Tech Talk February 3, 2027 – Patriot Cause March 3, 2027 – Behind the Mascot’s Mask April 7, 2027 – Hughes Norton Tickets are $26 for Fitton Center Members, $32 for non-members.

EXHIBITIONS The Fitton Center offers four major exhibitions each season, highlighting both world-renowned and local art and artists in a wide array of media. August 14, 2026 – The Soul of Black Folks: 250 Years of Creativity, Leadership and Innovation October 27, 2026 – Milestones: Finding Our Way (Part of the 2026 FotoFocus Biennial) February 13, 2027 – Mythic May 15, 2027 – 53rd Hamilton Current: Hamilton’s Area Art Competition All art exhibitions are free and open to the public. Dates reflect gallery-opening celebrations, which take place in conjunction with performance events and often include artist talks.

FITTON CINEMA The cultiest of cult classics returns for a raucous 10 p.m. screening with a live shadow cast performance by The Denton Affair. October 30, 2026 – The Rocky Horror Picture Show Tickets are $12 for Fitton Center members, $15 for non-members.


A celebration of the entire new season is set for 5 to 9 p.m. Friday, August 14, with Season Launch. The annual open house event features live music by the Wonderlands, performances by resident companies, live art demonstrations, food, drinks, giant games and more. All are welcome.

Tickets for the 2026-2027 season go on sale to Fitton Center members at 9 a.m. Monday, August 10, while the general public can begin purchasing tickets at 9 a.m. Friday, August 14.

Fitton Center memberships are $35 for an individual and $70 for families and are good for a calendar year from the date of purchase. In addition to first dibs on tickets, members also receive discounts on all ticket purchases, as well as classes, camps, workshops, art purchases, Bake Sale items and facility rentals. Members also enjoy discounts at partner businesses and organizations around the region as part of the Community Rewards Program.

Galleries are accessible during public building hours and prior to performances and public events.  Group gallery tours may be scheduled outside of listed gallery hours with adequate notice.  Galleries are periodically closed for the installation of new art, so please check the exhibition schedule before your visit. All exhibitions are FREE and open to the whole community.
