Bride's Mafia coming back

Hamilton, Ohio – After a runaway success last fall, A Bride's Mafia brings its semi-annual After-Hours Wedding Show back to the Fitton Center for Creative Arts from 6 to 9:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 12.

“We’ve changed from calling this a bridal show to a wedding show,” said Kristie Bulach of A Bride’s Mafia. “This isn’t just about brides. It’s grooms, it’s wedding parties, it’s families. We want to be more inclusive; that’s one of the unique things about our show.

“We’ve got 60-plus vendors coming that will help you with your wedding, but also with your new life as a couple. You’ll see dresses, tuxes, caterers, DJs, florists and photographers for sure, but also travel people, realtors and insurance companies. It really is a one-stop shop.”

And that’s to say nothing of the venue, which is a one-stop shop in its own right. The Fitton Center facilities offer a variety of unique rental options for a wide range of wedding events from bridal showers to ceremonies, from rehearsal dinners to receptions.

“We are happy to turn our building over to Kristie and the team from A Bride’s Mafia,” said Fitton Center executive director Ian MacKenzie-Thurley. “From the Carruthers Signature Ballroom to the Vista Room, from the theater to the gallery spaces, her group really showcased our versatility. This will be a fantastic experience not only for brides to be, but for everyone involved in the wedding.”

The Mafia created a new floor plan for the spring show, offering the guests a better flow through the building.

Among the other new elements for the spring show, White Wisteria Bridal Boutique will have a live fashion show highlighting some of the top trends in wedding wear. Doors to the theater open at 7 p.m., with a Q&A scheduled for 7:15 and the fashion show at 7:30.

A variety of vendors construct fabulous wedding sets tailored to highlight each space and showcase the latest in wedding and reception options. The show includes thousands of dollars’ worth of wedding-event giveaways – including a $10,000 vacation package - as well as opportunities for brides to say yes to their dream dress.

Presenting sponsors for the event include White Wisteria Bridal Boutique, Bambino International, Sphire Elegance Specialty Linens & Chair Covers and A&S Party Rentals.

For more information or to register, visit A Bride’s Mafia, the Fitton Center or email kristie@abridesmafia.com. Tickets to the event are free, but guests must register to get them. There are also a limited number of VIP tickets for $12 that include a swag bag to take home.

The Fitton Center for Creative Arts is located at 101 S. Monument Avenue on the Riverfront in downtown Hamilton, Ohio.
