Hamilton (Ohio) – The Fitton Center for Creative Arts seeks the next collection of artists and artworks to celebrate in its celebrated gallery spaces.
As such, Director of Exhibitions Cathy Mayhugh is accepting proposals through Dec. 1, 2022, in all visual-art media for solo and group exhibitions to be part of the 2023-2024 season.
Solo artists generally exhibit 10 to 25 works, depending on scale, media and available space. The Fitton Center also offers group shows with partnering galleries or studios, as well as individuals willing to be selected into a curated group show.
Gallery proposals require a completed online submission form that includes file uploads of a 150-word artist statement, a 150-word installation details statement, CV, 10 jpeg images of artwork with corresponding image list, and a $25 non-refundable fee.
The Fitton Center - a community art center on the Great Miami River in arts-driven downtown Hamilton, Ohio - provides experiences in the arts through exhibitions, classes, performances, and other events. Its four galleries feature 2,600 square feet of exhibition space for a wide range of engaging art shows.
