Hamilton, OH - Somewhere, the late Allan Sherman smiles.

The man who wrote the campy camp classic Hello Muddah, Hello Faddah! certainly would have appreciated the record-setting 2025 Summer Camp Creativity season that came to a close Friday, July 25, at the Fitton Center for Creative Arts.
The Fitton Center topped the 300-camper plateau for the first time in program history, ending the summer with 303 young artists participating in two dozen different camps over six weeks in June and July.
The final camp of the season - Refashion Your Wardrobe: Teen Sewing Camp - offered artists ages 12 to 16 opportunities to repurpose old t-shirts into dresses, carry bags, pillows and toys.
Earlier in the day, Colorful Creatures Camp wrapped up with tropical birds, jungle-dwelling cats and alpacas from the Andes among the bright animal projects the 5- to 9-year-old artists made.
Likewise, Art with Heart Camp ended with a gallery show for parents, siblings and friends displaying thoughtful works of art by 7- to 12-year-old creators like kindness rocks, personalized buttons, snuggly pet blankets and other pieces designed to spread a little sunshine.
A HUGE thank you to the hundreds of campers - and camp families - who made it such an exciting season at the Fitton Center. We very much appreciate you spending part of the summer with us. With so many options out there, we don't take your presence for granted. We hope you enjoyed your experience with us and will come see us again soon.
A equally HUGE congratulations to the Fitton Center education team, all the camp instructors and our summer interns who designed and executed such an inspiring, active and interesting camp season. That's a tremendous undertaking, but they made it look easy.
Please enjoy a few photos from Week Six camps in the gallery below.
