Cincinnati Ballet: residency in Hamilton

Hamilton, Ohio – The Cincinnati Ballet sets up shop at the Fitton Center March 17 and 18 for a pair of dynamic shows and a quartet of engaging master classes.


The Otto M. Budig Academy dancers present Heroes & Villains for Fitton Family Friday at 7:30 p.m. March 17. (Tickets cost $6 for Fitton Center members - $8 for non-members - and are available here.)


On Saturday night, March 18, the Cincinnati Ballet Second Company performs Classical & Contemporary as part of the Fitton Show Stoppers series.

In between, we are pleased to present youngsters in the area with the opportunity to dance with these consummate professionals, offering classes for three different age groups, each for the incredible price of $5 per student, per session.


All classes take place in the Fitton Center Dance Studio.


Dance Discovery 10 to 11 a.m. (ages 4-7) 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. (ages 8 and up) Dance Discovery is an hour-long introductory course for the curious and beginners. Parents welcome in the room to watch. Each session limited to 30 students. Tickets for class ages 4-7 available here. Tickets for class ages 8 and up available here.


Advanced Ballet 1 to 2:30 p.m. (ages 12 and up) Bring your point shoes and get ready to learn some of the more rigorous elements of professional dance. Ideal for students with experience looking to add skills. Class limited to 20 students. Tickets for class available here.


Contemporary Ballet 2:45 to 4:15 p.m. (ages 12 and up) Take your classical training up a level by adding some contemporary choreography to your dance card. Class limited to 20 students. Tickets for class available here.
