Crafty Palooza

Hamilton (OH) - Heat, humidity and even a brief rain shower couldn't dampen the enthusiasm at the Fitton Center booth during Hamilpalooza.

In fact, when the skies opened up, the population under the tent quadrupled as people sought shelter.

The Aug. 26 family-friendly afternoon event at Marcum Park - sponsored by the Greater Hamilton Chamber of Commerce - connected guests to food, fun, entertainment and shopping.

Dozens of children made woodland magnet crafts at the Fitton Center booth, while parents and grandparents picked up copies of the 2023-2024 Season Brochure and the 2023 Fall Education Brochure.

"We love getting out in the community for events like this," said Mark Motz, Fitton Center Marketing Manager. "Our community engagement team introduces so many people to the Fitton Center through their excellent work. We get to have a lot of conversations with people while the kids are crafting."

The engagement team will be back in action September 23 at the Liberty Fall Festival and October 14 and 15 for Operation Pumpkin.
