Creative Arts in the Park

(Liberty Township, OH) - The thermometer said otherwise, but the coolest place around on Thursday was Fort Liberty Playland.

More than 50 people joined the Fitton Center community engagement team under the picnic shelter to make a free paper-spool insect craft with yarn, pipe cleaners and - of course - the ever-popular googly eyes.

The team will be back at Fort Liberty from 10-11:30 a.m. Thursday, July 18, for the next Creative Arts in the Park event. Get ready for some good luck, as we'll be making a delightful ladybug craft.

Before that, though... yay verily, yon engagement team doth sally forth to West Chester's Shakespeare in the Park from 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday July 13. Until then, please enjoy some photos from Fort Liberty on June 20.
