Dinner & A Showstopper

Hamilton (OH) – Dinner and a show just leveled up. Welcome to Dinner & A Showstopper.

The Fitton Center for Creative Arts teams with Tano Bistro for a one-price, all-inclusive night on the town in Hamilton Saturday, January 20.

Guests can book a three-course dinner at Tano and a discounted ticket to The Wayfarers - the first Fitton Showstoppers Series performance of 2024 - all for $75. The price includes all taxes, fees and gratuities.

“We’re always looking for ways to enrich the Fitton Center experience,” said Executive Director Ian MacKenzie-Thurley. “What better way than spending time and breaking bread with your family and friends before coming here to see these incredible eastern Ohio musicians celebrating the music that helped shape this country.”

“We had a great experience working with the Fitton Center during Hamilton Hospitality Week in September,” said Tyler McCleary of Tano Bistro. “The video we made to promote local dining went viral and has more than 1.3 million views. This is a great way to continue that partnership and build on that momentum.”

Tano Bistro (150 Riverfront Plaza, Hamilton, Ohio 45011) will have seating for up to 54 guests – 18 each at 5, 5:15 and 5:30 p.m. January 20 - to accommodate the 7:30 curtain for the Wayfarers. The meal includes a Tano House Salad, choice of entrée including Pan Roasted Chicken, Stuffed Salmon, Eggplant Napoleon or Allegiance Pork Chop; and a choice of Creme Brulé or Chocolate Torte for dessert. (Guests may add a bottle of wine to their dinner for an additional $20.)

“We’ll make sure you get a great meal, that you can relax and enjoy it and still make it to the theater in plenty of time,” McCleary said. “There’s no need to decide where to go beforehand or wonder if your dinner will be ready in time to get to the show.”

“Dinner & A Showstopper is so convenient,” McKenzie-Thurley said. “Other than reaching for your keys, you never have to put your hand in your pocket once you leave the house. You make your dinner reservation and your entertainment reservation all at once and pay for it in advance. You just turn up and have a good time.

“You see things like this on Broadway or in London’s West End all the time. Why not have it in Hamilton, too? We’re all in the entertainment business. Building partnerships like this is good for the Fitton Center, for Tano and – most importantly – for our customers.”
