Hamilton, Ohio – The Fitton Center for Creative Arts announced its 2025-2026 season July 14.
We present Fitton Family Fridays shows specifically for children, but invite and encourage the entire family to enjoy performances by local and regional children’s theater companies, puppeteers and musicians and experience mind-bending interactive opportunities.
All performances are on Friday nights in the Fitton Family Theater with a 7:30 p.m. curtain time. Kid-friendly snacks and drinks are served at 6:30 in the ballroom. Tickets are $9* for Fitton Center Members, $11* for non-members.

We kick off the series September 12 with The Children’s Theatre of Cincinnati production of Henny Penny’s Adventures. When Henny Penny gets bonked on the head by a falling acorn, chaos ensues. TCT brings this classic tale to life with laughs, lessons and a reminder to keep calm and see the bigger picture when it seems like the sky is falling.

On October 17, we offer leaps, spins and lifts, costumes, makeup and music. They all come together to create mesmerizing moments that electrify your senses as the Dayton Ballet asks Who Wants to Be a Dancer? They answer with a hands-on, how-to performance to engage and inspire everyone’s inner ballerina.

On November 7, we celebrate the 80-year anniversary of the inaugural 1945 print release of Stuart Little. Lexington Children's Theatre brings this delightful stage adaptation to life with all your favorite friends (and frenemies) like Snowball, Margalo, Dr. Carey and Harriet Ames.

December 5 brings a second helping of The Children’s Theatre of Cincinnati, who are back to play Reindeer Games. Forget about football. TCT turns the Fitton Center into a TV studio for a wild, interactive game show starring Santa’s sleigh pullers as the hosts and YOU as the contestants. Put on your thinking caps and get ready for some hilarious holiday hijinks.

We set sail into the new year on January 16 to join Cap’n Kraken on an exciting, high-seas journey into the colorful world of ocean travelers above and below the waves for his Yo Ho Ho Pirate Show. This interactive voyage sparks curiosity about pirates, mermaids and – of course - the legendary Kraken. It will be a Jolly Roger of a good time for the whole family.

On February 13, the audience can learn the tricks of the big-top trade – juggling, acrobatics, clowning and feats of derring-do – during a three-ring, razzle-dazzle review of everything My Nose Turns Red Circus has been teaching youngsters across the Tri-State for more than 40 years.

Join an adventurous fisherman and a chatty wish fish in a world of enchanting folktales on March 20. River City Puppets returns with a cast of fantastical puppet creatures who unravel the mysteries of a misunderstood river monster and discover true friendship lies just beneath the surface in The Wonders of Wiggly River.

We close the series April 17 with Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park’s production of The Tortoise and the Hare. Aesop’s fable receives a brand-new adaptation in story and song. Can the crafty tortoise find a way to best the brash bunny in a footrace? It may seem like a clear mismatch, but this version has the audience on the edge of its seat right to the finish line.
