Hamilton, OH - Genesis ReTouched opened the 2026-2027 Fitton Showstoppers with a sold-out show.

(The curtain barely came down on the spectacular performance October 17 before the Fitton Center welcomed the Ohio Arts Professionals Network to Hamilton, hence the late recap.)

The band debuted its Genesis: Evolution show, featuring songs from every incarnation of the legendary British band Genesis, from its early progressive rock roots to the pop stadium anthems of the 1980s.

Not only that, Evolution included solo-career hits by Genesis frontmen Peter Gabriel and Phil Collins, as well as music by Mike Rutherford's side project, Mike & the Mechanics.

If you missed it, sorry; Evolution was one for the books. You won't want to miss the November Showstoppers event. Join us Saturday, November 21, when we recreate a Hamilton-centric version of a beloved TV game show with Hamilton Feud. The Hamilton Police Department faces the Hamilton Fire Department, while High Street takes on Main Street. (Plus other surprises, too.) Tickets are available online right here, by phone at 513-863-8873, ext. 110 or in person at the Fitton Center box office.

But until then, enjoy some photos from Genesis: Evolution in the gallery below.
