Hamilton, OH - They said from the outset there would be a few hiccups.

Amber Hunt - Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist and host of the Crimes of the Centuries podcast - didn't wait long to prove accurate.
Recording before a sold-out Fitton Showstoppers audience Saturday, February 28, Hunt stumbled slightly while reading the episode opening. Amanda Rossmann - a Pulitzer winner in her own right - called for a retake 25 seconds into the show, which drew a sympathetic chuckle from the crowd.
The minor gaffe helped ease the crowd into an otherwise majorly intense and in-depth presentation of the notorious case of Edythe Klumpp.
The rest of the true-crime podcast recording went off without a hitch as Hunt's script - augmented by Rossmann showing graphics and video clips on the screen - kept the audience on the edge of its seat.
The Q&A turned lively as both award-winning journalists worked as well off the cuff as they did in their scripted presentation.
The Klumpp episode of COTC drops later this month (March 23, to be precise). Stay tuned for complete details on how to get it.
