Magnetic moments

(Liberty Twp., OH) - That's a wrap.

More than 70 people visited the picnic shelter at Fort Liberty Playland Thursday, August 8, for the last of three Creative Arts in the Park programs hosted by the Fitton Center this summer.

Guests made magnet fish out of foam stars and bottlecaps, decorating them with everything from drawn-on scales and fins, to glitter, beads and googly eyeballs.

While the Creative Arts in the Park series may be finished for the season, the Fitton outreach team still has plenty of FREE crafting fun on the horizon.

Join us from 3 to 8 p.m. Saturday, August 17, at the Fitton Center for the Season Launch Community Block Party. We'll have crafts inside at the Creation Station and guests can help make murals with Street Spark outside and even draw on the building walls.

Looking ahead, the team also will be out in the community at Hamilpalooza, the Hamilton Police Open House, Liberty Fall Fest and Operation Pumpkin, to name a few.

Until then, please enjoy some photos from the final Liberty Playland event in the gallery below.
