Meet the Intern - DJ Klefeker

Hamilton, Ohio – The newest intern on the Fitton Center team rocks.

Literally.

Meet DJ Klefeker. She enjoys seeing bands like Green Day and Weezer in concert and plans to catch My Chemical Romance on tour in Nashville in August.

Before that, though, Klefeker will work closely with Marketing Manager Mark Motz to develop video and animation assets to help promote the 2026-2027 Fitton Center season, as well as explore some new social media avenues to connect with different audiences.

“I’m interested in the arts and I like working with digital technology,” she said. “I’m hoping to take what I know and learn some new stuff in marketing, promotion and social media. I just want to expand my skills and keep learning.”

The 2024 Badin High School graduate is working toward her associate’s degree in applied media communications. She’s on track to graduate from the University of Cincinnati Blue Ash in December.

Part of Klefeker’s collegiate program includes graphic design, familiar territory with a father who works as a graphic designer. (Her mom is an academic advisor and DJ has a younger sister – Olivia – who graduated from Badin this spring.)

The summer internship is not Klefeker’s first experience with the Fitton Center. She and her sister appeared on the Fitton Family Theater stage in musicals with Performing Arts Inc. DJ also had some of her artwork on display in the Community Gallery during Badin’s annual student exhibition.
