Hamilton, OH - The first Fitton Family Fridays show of the 2025-2026 season was an unqualified hit.

Elliet Malatesta wowed the crowd playing the title role (and a few others) in The Children's Theatre of Cincinnati production of Henny Penny's Adventures on September 12.
She also brought some guests out of the audience to play some of her barnyard buddies. One patron was so impressed with the youngsters she selected that she asked if those were professional actors, too, part of the show all the time. (For the record, no, those were not professionals. We just happen have super-talented people in our audiences.)
In addition to the show, guests enjoyed hot snacks like meatballs, mac-n-cheese nuggets and mini corn dogs - as well as an array of fruits and desserts - provided by Two Women in a Kitchen.
People also enjoyed making crafts in the Creation Station and posing for family pictures at the Fitton Photo Booth in the Monumnet Gallery.
Next up in the Fitton Family Fridays series, the Dayton Ballet - making its Fitton Center debut - asks Who Wants to be a Dancer? on Friday, October 17. Tickets are $9 for Fitton Center members and $11 for non-members (plus a $3 fee per ticket) and are available online right here, by phone at 513-863-8873, ext. 110 or in person at the Fitton Center box office.
Until then, please enjoy some photos from Opening Night in the gallery below.
