Rock & Root exhibition opens

Hamilton, Ohio - More than 150 guests attended the gallery-opening celebration for the Rock & Root art exhibition at the Fitton Center for Creative Arts.

The event officially ran from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Saturday, October 25, but actually started at 4 p.m. with artist Amanda Lechner creating her final piece for the exhibition on site as guests watched her work and talked with her in the process.
Artists Amanda Evans, Cathryn Amidei and Amy Kollar Anderson also were on hand; they enjoyed meeting and speaking with the guests who came to see their work.
The exhibition remains on view through January 9, 2026.
Fitton Center galleries are always FREE and open to the public during regular business hours, when events are happening in the building or by appointment.
