SWOAEA Gallery Opening

Hamilton, Ohio - The Fitton Center welcomed the Southwest Ohio Art Education Association on Friday, September 5, for a gallery-opening celebration and awards ceremony for its exhibition - Retrospectacle. Guests enjoyed 42 works of art in a variety of media created by 17 different art educators from around the region. Artists paired works from childhood, high school and/or college and their earliest creative days with bold, contemporary pieces to create a before-and-after visual narrative of growth, exploration and lifelong artistry.  

Amy Jo Combs, Zanna Ferree, Terry Haynes, Tim Hilderbrand, Kate Rowekamp, Jamie Schorsch coordinated, prepared and installed the Retrospectacle exhibition, which will be on view through September 26.

The Community Gallery FREE and open to the public from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 10-5 Fridays.
