Hamilton, OH - You've seen the video and want to be a bigger part of the biggest party of the summer.

The Fitton Center still has volunteer opportunities open for Season Launch - An Eveniong of Wonder - coming up from 5 to 9 p.m. Friday, August 14.
The annual open-house party is FREE and open to the public. All are welcome to see and explore the Fitton Center, take in the landmark Soul of Black Folks quilt exhibition in our galleries, enjoy live music by The Wonderlands, watch live art demos (and try a few crafts yourself), all while getting a peek at the entertainment and exhibitions on tap for the 2026-2027 season.
Volunteers may work a one-hour slot or help out the whole four hours as their schedules allow. Signups are set in one-hour increments; pick any or all of the shifts you'd like to cover.
Volunteer duties include:
Craft help at the Creation Station
Helping pack up purchases with our Bake Sale
Greeting at the front door
Gallery attending
Giveaway Game help with our development team
General help to keep the event running smoothly.
All volunteers receive one free drink ticket (good for non-alcoholic beverages only if under 21 years of age) at the cash bar. A dedicated volunteers break room includes free snacks and water for all the helpers, as well as a sign-up sheet to volunteer for the 2026-2027 performance schedule. (Those spots fill up fast, so please sign up early.)
If you are interested in volunteering, please write Caroline Digiovenale at caroline@fittoncenter.org or fill out our volunteer application form right here.
