Hamilton, OH - They smelled what The Rock was cooking.

The Butler County Board of Developmental Disabilities came to the Fitton Center April 17 for a sensory screening of the 2017 Duane Johnson movie, Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle.
When four teenagers get pulled into a magical game, the only way to escape is to work together.
Butler County DD and the Fitton Center have worked together to offer sensory screenings since 2018, usually hosting one movie in the springtime and another around the holidays.
This Jumanji - a reboot of the 1995 Robin Williams classic - also stars Kevin Hart, Karen Gillan, Jack Black, Rhys Darby, Bobby Cannavale and Nick Jonas.
Something for everybody, in other words.
“Sharing the real joy and fun of a theater experience with our friends and partners is absolutely amazing,” said Ian MacKenzie-Thurley, Fitton Center Executive Director (who got into the act with a pith helmet and safari shirt to greet the guests as they arrived). “It’s maybe the most joyful thing we do all year. Our guests bring a wonderful energy to the theater. They laugh and cheer and have a great time.
“The Fitton Center is for everyone. It’s for the entire community. We want everyone and their families to always feel welcome and be a part of what we’re doing. This is an important piece of our mission to build community excellence through the arts.”
