Reclusive candy maker Willy Wonka made a rare public appearance at Fitton Family Fridays Nov. 4.
With help from a sold-out audience - several of whom were invited down to the stage to participate in the show - he shared the wonder that comes from within.
Lane Library representatives were on hand before the show with more Roald Dahl books and stories, as well as a make-your-own bookmark craft for kids to take home.
Catering partner Two Women in a Kitchen burnished its already legendary reputation with a diner of walking tacos, quesadillas, fruit, cookies and multi-layered Wonka bars.
Next up in the Fitton Family Fridays series? The Children's Theatre of Cincinnati brings A Seussified Christmas Carol to another sold-out audience - yes, it's already sold out - on Dec. 4. (There are still tickets available to the Tricky Max: Abra-KID-azzle show Jan. 20, 2023.)
