Convergence

“Convergence” symbolizes the vital connections formed through one of Hamilton’s most central arteries - Main Street. Inspired by the playful spirit of mid-century modern illustration, the radial design unfolds into a series of vignettes celebrating local landmarks and culture, anchored by a shared focal point.

With nods to neighborhoods along Main, like Rossville, Highland Park, Millikin Woods, and more, the mural highlights the many threads that bring our communities together. From iconic sculptures to local architectural history, and even Hamilton’s love of classic cars, there’s something for everyone.

When was the last time you looked at where you live with a childlike sense of wonder? My hope is that “Convergence” encourages viewers to reflect on what makes Hamilton special to them, whether it be a familiar place or something new still waiting to be discovered.
