Hamilton, Ohio – Artists, gather your recent and best artwork.
The Fitton Center is now accepting competitive entries for the 51st Hamilton Current: Hamilton’s Area Art Competition through March 26, 2023.
This all-media juried show is open to adult visual artists residing within 60 miles of Hamilton, Ohio, with no limits on theme, content or style.
Artists may submit up to three original works created in the last five years. The entry fee is $35 per artist. $1,000 in cash prizes will be awarded.
Two professional guest judges from the region select an between 55 and 85 different artists for the show.
Mallory Feltz is the first guest judge. She is Director of Exhibitions and Public Art at the Kennedy Heights Arts Center. Feltz holds an MFA in Sculpture from Louisiana State University.

While you’re putting together your entries, go ahead and make plans to attend the free exhibition opening event from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Saturday, May 6 at the Fitton Center. The gallery opening runs in conjunction with the Fitton Showstoppers performance: CCJO Goes to the Movies.
The Fitton Center for Creative Arts is located at 101 S. Monument Avenue on the Riverfront in downtown Hamilton, Ohio.
