Liberty Twp., OH - About 50 people braved the first heatwave of the summer to join the Fitton Center community engagement team for Creative Arts in the Park.

Despite the warmth in the air, it was a cool morning in the picnic shelter adjacent to the playground at Dudley Memorial Park Thursday, June 26. Guests used paper tubes, a wide array of colorful paint sticks, glue and miniature fungus figures made of wood to replicate mushrooms growing out of fallen logs.
After crafting, many of the children took advantage of the play structure next door, while some of the parents stayed in the shade to make their own 'shroom tubes.
Creative Arts in the Park returns from 10 to 11:30 a.m. Thursday, July 17. Get ready to make a snake-themed craft next time out.
Until then, enjoy some photos in the gallery below.
