Creative Arts in the Park - June

Liberty Township, OH - One tiny child thought the glue sticks were tubes of lip balm and began rubbing one all over her mouth.

Not to worry. Glue sticks are non-toxic.
Besides, her quick-acting mom took it away and wiped her clean without so much as a whimper from the toddler.
Otherwise, the first Creative Arts in the Park event of the summer at the recently - and beautifully - refurbished Fort Liberty Playland went off without a hitch.
More than 100 guests visited the picnic shelter in an hour-and-a-half, making whales out of toilet paper rolls, construction paper, tape and the aforementioned glue sticks. (Some old-school liquid squeeze-bottle glue, too.)
The Fitton Center returns for round two of Creative Arts in the Park at Liberty Playland from 10 to 11:30 a.m. Thursday, July 16.
Until then, enjoy some photos from the June event in the gallery below.
