Fitton Family Fridays continued March 8 when Lexington Children's Theatre returned to the Fitton Center to present Keeping Mr. Lincoln.
The four-person play brought the 16th American President to life in his own words - like the famous Gettysburg Address - and the words of those who knew him well, including his former law partner and biographer, William H. Herndon.
Before the sold-out performance, guests feasted in the ballroom on mac-n-cheese bites, fish sticks, pigs-in-a-blanket, an array of fruit, cookies and banana pudding cooked up by catering partner, Two Women in a Kitchen.
Some young artists made new pieces in the Creation Station, while several families posed for red-carpet photos in the Monument Gallery before entering the theater.
The final FFF performance of the season - an April 26 production of The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe - has been sold out for months, but guests may put their names on a waiting list in case any tickets become available. Just call 513-863-8873, ext. 110.
Meantime, enjoy some photos from Fitton Family Friday in the gallery below.
