Hamilton (OH) - The Fitton Center partnered with the men and women who protect and serve, setting up shop at the annual Hamilton Police Open House August 3.
The community event drew hundreds of guests to dozens of booths staffed by a variety of organizations from area businesses to neighboring police departments, from community action groups to a therapeutic farm.
Plus tours of the police headquarters and all the police vehicles and equipment on display.
Visitors to the Fitton Center booth used stencils, thin sheets of foam, markers, stickers and glue to craft their personal versions of a police badge to wear.
Our next community outreach event is takes place from 10 to 11:30 a.m. Thursday, August 10, when we return to Fort Liberty Playland for the final Liberty Township Creative Arts In the Park event of the season.
Join us in the picnic shelter next to the playground for some crafting fun.
Meantime, enjoy some photos from the Polic Open House below.
