Quite a pickle

(Hamilton, OH) - The Fitton Center kicked off - would "served up" be better? - the 2024-2025 Celebrating Self series with a Pickleball BBQ.

Mitch Dunn of The Pickle Lodge in West Chester described his journey from corporate brand manager to SW Ohio's pickleball ambassador. And how his love for the sport turned into a career.

More than just a talk, Dunn and his team laid out a court in the Fitton Center parking lot and showed people how to play the game. They even pulled some audience members from under their tents and onto the court to participate.

Enjoy some photos from the event in the gallery below.

And make plans to join us for our next Celebrating Self luncheon as we move back inside Wednesday, October 2, for A Woman of No Importance. Ohio native Erin Dietrick is a Programs and Podcast Assistant at the International Spy Museum in Washington D.C. She co-produces the SpyCast podcast and shares the skinny on the shadowy machinations that create secret agents.
