Hamilton, OH - A sturdy tortoise. A series of whimsical snakes.
You know, art. Or at least art adjacent.

Esio Trot - check that name in the mirror - returned for its second appearance of the summer to conduct Tortoise Yoga (with Instructor Molly from the Fitton Family YMCA) with the Fitton Center education team. Parents with kids in a summer camp - as well as little ones waiting for their brothers and sisters - had a chance to stretch and breathe with Molly and Esio. Afterward, everyone had a chance to pet and play with the popular tortoise.
Meanwhile, at Dudley Memorial Park in Liberty Township, about 50 people stopped by the picnic shelter next to the playground for Creative Arts in the Park to make Popsicle-stick snakes with the Fitton Center community engagement crew. Using paint markers, decorative gems, googly eyes and glue, guests dreamed up all manner of colorful, slithery reptiles. Including a few that featured eyeballs in their midsections. While Esio is finished for the summer, the Fitton Center will be back at Dudley Memorial from 10 to 11:30 a.m. Thursday, August 14, for one last Creative Arts in the Park.
