The Fitton Center recently sent an email blast - while sharing in this space and on social media - that there would be serious renovation construction taking place this week and next.
And so it is.
We mentioned there would be plastic wrap throughout the entrance foyer to protect the rest of the building from the resulting dust.
And so it is. (Even more than we mentioned, in fact.)
The TAMZ Construction crew arrived early Monday to hang the plastic, as well as several cloth tarps. They placed blue mat to catch the dust from the soles of shoes as people exit the foyer and head toward the main office doors, the elevator, the galleries and the studios.
By mid-morning, the scissor lift extended high as the team began replacing water-damaged ceiling tiles.
We'll keep you posted as construction continues, but for now, here are some photos of the wrapped-up entrance.
