If anybody walked away hungry, it was their own fault.
Catering partner Two Women in a Kitchen created a feast for the New Year's Eve Special Event at the Fitton Center Saturday night into Sunday morning.
An array of appetizers in the Vista Room - including Asian-inspired chicken wings with a pair of dipping sauces, a parmesan-artichoke spread and a fruit-and-cheese platter - greeted guests on arrival.
The first course for dinner offered a visually stunning standing grilled zucchini salad with a honey pomegranate vinaigrette and Parmesan crisp. The entree was a rich ginger-glazed boneless beef short rib served with mashed potatoes and roasted mix vegetables. The delightful dessert was actually three sweet treats on one plate - cheesecake, chocolate decadence and raspberry chip ice cream.
And just when revelers needed to refuel after all the dancing, a spread with breakfast burritos, sausage-egg-cheese croissants, ham-egg-cheese biscuits and tater tots appeared after midnight to send them home happy.
