Hamilton, Ohio – Nobody parties like the Fitton Center.
As such, your favorite community arts center invites you to party with a purpose from 5 to 9 p.m. Thursday, December 14, at Third Eye Brewing Company’s new tap room in Hamilton.
Three purposes, actually.
First, it’s the holidays. If you need a reason to get out of the house and make merry, that’s as good as any. Plus, the Fitton Center staff, crew and faculty will be there spreading cheer. We’ll be wearing ugly Christmas sweaters and invite you to don your worst, too.
All are welcome. Even dogs in designated areas!
Second, we like supporting local businesses. With a current beer roster featuring – among others - Jelly Brain, Untapped Potential, Dark Aura, Holiday Munchies and Third Eye of the Tiger, these are the kind of creative creators we love having in Hamilton.
Third, Third Eye offered us 10 percent of its taproom beer sales for hosting the party at their place. (All part of their plan to become a neighborhood fixture.) Some call it a taproom takeover, others a dine-and-donate. Third Eye calls it Do Good Thursday, donating a percentage of their sales to different non-profit organizations every week.
For the record, we’ll use our cut to help defray the cost of our award-winning education and outreach programs so we can continue connecting people to a variety of quality art programs, both in our building and well beyond our four walls.
Please plan to join us December 14, whether for a few minutes or all four hours. Celebrate the season, check out a new neighbor, sip some sensational brews and help promote the arts in our community and beyond.
We hope to see you there!
The Fitton Center for Creative Arts is located at 101 S. Monument Avenue on the Riverfront in downtown Hamilton, Ohio.
